ABOUT THREECORNERJACK

Mark has been creating art for decades in the Arid Lands of Central Australia. Spending a large amount of his life exploring the bush has fostered in him a deep connection with nature. Mark has always felt at peace in the bush, and attributes this connection to his Indigenous heritage.

Mark started drawing as a child and progressed to painting motorcycle helmets, bedroom walls, sketching anytime there was pen or pencil available. His creativity extended into motorbikes and cars. He started painting in his 20's, working mainly in acrylics. These days Mark is working with oils, enjoying the buttery texture and longer drying times that allow him to express the imagery in new ways.  A recent move to South Australia has allowed Mark to capture more urban environments, and the

magnificent bushland nearby.
